Evil Glenn finally got his comeuppance when the WAGs pooled together to poison the horrible man.
After chugging back a pint, Glenn quickly realised something was wrong as he clutched his arm in pain before collapsing to the ground and dying in his sons arms. Having spent months abusing Grace and terrorising the other women of Hollyoaks, it seemed like his just desserts.
Or was it?
This is Hollyoaks after all, that may well not have been the end of our dear Mr Donovan.
Actor Bob Cryer hinted to Metro.co.uk that though his character is well and truly dead, he could be back.
When asked if hell miss the show, he said: Im looking forward to be going back – as a visitor. Im looking forward to being an audience member. And then because death is never the end in Hollyoaks, you never know.

Sensing a hint of things to come, we asked if that meant well be seeing Glenn as a ghost coming back to haunt his murderers.
Who knows?! he said. We can make it work in the way Nico did or Mac. Ill leave that to the experts because they love coming up with new and inventive ways of resurrecting corpses.
Holy guacamole, just when you thought Glenn was toast and the women were finally free, he could be back to terrorise another day.
He added that regardless of whether or not his apparition pops up to reign further terror, the WAGs are set to face some trials as they seemingly begin to turn on one another as even they arent quite sure who actually slipped the poison into the drink.
Because its poison in a pint theres no smoking gun you dont get to see the murderer up close. But the fall out from the WAGs – its a case of divide and conquer, Bob revealed. Glenn recognise that Liam would be the one to carry on the family business. And what a Donovan man likes to do is divide the enemy and get them to fight amongst themselves. Hell be working on that right away.
Having played the evil character for a year, does Bob think drinking a death pint the right way to go?
I do, yes! he said. I think its the perfect way for him to go. Its very fitting for a bastard like Glenn to go in such an off beat way where he doesnt actually know who the person is because he deserves to go not on his own terms. Theres the storm coming up and people said did I think he should go like that but I think thats too heroic, too romantic for Glenn.

He needs to go in a very unassuming way. Hes always been facing off with someone knowing theyre going to crack, but this is a faceless enemy. If he went out in a stand off hed love that but I dont think he deserved that, he is far too nasty a piece of work.
