Ste Hay makes a bold move in Hollyoaks, but how will his new pal Jonny take it?
The pair are set to grow close as Jonny attempts to groom Ste in the hopes of getting him to join a radical anti-Islamic group, but it spells more than just the obvious trouble.
Jonny preys on Stes vulnerability over Misbah, with him still believing the doctor was responsible for Tegan Lomaxs death during the storm. Full of hatred, Ste is rife for turning by Jonny, who plies Ste with his own extremist views in turning him further against the family.
Ste is banned from selling his mince pies at the Bean because of Yazzs attempts to sabotage. Ste is left struggling for money, but Leela comes to his rescue and asks him to cater the wedding with Jonny to help.
As the two get even closer, in a moment of misunderstanding, Ste interprets Jonnys intentions as flirtation, and he goes in for the kiss. Will Jonny reciprocate? Or will Ste be left humiliated?

Later, Jonny avoids Ste and hes left struggling without his pals help which leads to disaster as he screws up the catering job. Has he managed to ruin both his friendship and his sisters wedding?
They both might be the least of his problems if he allows himself to be radicalised.
Executive producer Bryan Kirkwood previously said: From the research we carried out, we realised that in Ste Hay we had a character that was disenfranchised and vulnerable enough to be groomed into extreme views.
The more we learned about how these groups operate and how insidious they are, the more passionate we became about telling this story, which is about how hate and fear can destroy communities.
Its also a modern story about protecting young people online who are susceptible to fake news, the echo chambers of the internet and the algorithms that can lead people, in this case our much- loved character Ste down a rabbit hole into a terrifying world.
This story will show how this can happen and how difficult it can be then to escape from. We have a proud history of exploring hard-hitting issues like self-harm and sexual abuse at 6.30pm. In the same way we hope to engage people in an issue they may not have previously been aware of.
