Warning: spoilers ahead
Fans of the Avengers movies were left rocked when Infinity War was released back in April.
No one was quite prepared for the level of culling of huge characters, particularly within the first few minutes of the third movie in the franchise.
In particular, good guy Heimdall (played by Idris Elba), who was the guardian of Bifrost Bridge and a loyal subject to Thor and Lokis father Odin, and a bit of a legend in Thor Ragnarok, biting the dust after sending Hulk back to Earth was a bitter pill to swallow.
But this is the Marvel universe after all, you cant keep a good guy down for long.
And the man himself, Idris Elba, has hinted that its not the last weve seen of Heimdall.
We already know that Avengers 4 will see many a ressurrection judging by behind the scenes pics that have surfaced, but will Heimdall be one of them?

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Idris Elba, whos also now the ambassador for energy drink Purdeys, hinted that it might be so.
I have no idea. Its a show about super heroes and guns, who knows, he said with a knowing grin. Its been amazing playing in the Marvel family.
But playing devils advocate and wanting to keep fans on their toes, he added: Im sure they decided to get rid of as many characters because theyve run their natural course.
I loved playing him, he was my G, my guy.
Well while we wait to see if Heimdall does rise again, Idris has enough other stuff keeping him busy, what with Hobbs and Shaw about to start filming, Luther out this autumn, and a 16 week residency DJing in Ibiza.
Hes also just finished his first ever directorial project called Yardie, an organised crime thriller set in 70s Jamaica and 80s Hackyey, London, where a young Jamaican called D, still reeling from the murder of his brother is sent to London for a fresh start, where he reconnects with his childhood sweetheart and his daughter he hasnt seen since she was a baby. There, he is ready to give him his life of crime.
But before he does, he comes across the man who killed his brother, and starts on a bloody quest for revenge.
Speaking of being behind camera, Idris said: Loved it, Loooved it. Ill be doing more without a doubt. I love directing, being at the helm of a vision, my baby.
