Indecent Proposal is getting a remake.
The dark, smoldering film that, like other contemporary features flirted with the concept of prostitution, is getting a remake thanks to Paramount Players.
Erin Cressida Wilson, who has worked on The Girl on the Train and Men, Women & Children has been chosen to pen the script, Deadline reports.
Adrian Lyne directed the original feature, which follows the story of an underprivileged married couple played by Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore and a millionaire (Robert Redford) who offers them $1 million (£760,000) to sleep with the wife.
The film had been a major commercial success, raking in $266 million (£202 million) worldwide at the box office.
Critics were heavily divided and the film received three Razzie Awards for Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screenplay.

Based on a book of the same name written by Jack Engelhard, information about the remake remains scarce, and people are speculating about what the new feature will look like in light of #MeToo and the push for womens rights.
