Australias national sweetheart Hugh Jackman headed up the cast of a little old film called The Greatest Showman back in 2017, and now we know that there might well be a sequel on the way.
The actor revealed that he knows producers are working on a treatment for a possible follow-up to the mega-hit musical when he was asked about the possibility of there being a second film.
Jackman told BBC Radio 2 on Monday: The real answer is “could be”, Im not sure. Im being completely honest with you, there is talk of something going around but no one is really sure.
The X-Men alum also said: I would like to be part of it for sure, and I dont know if it would be centred on my character.

Which cast members could be returning to The Greatest Showman?
Jackman has said outright that hes game for a return as P.T. Barnum, but that he isnt sure if his character would take centre stage as it were.

Following that train of thought also leads us to think that Rebecca Ferguson might not make a comeback either, not only because of the chance that P.T. might not be as involved in the plot, but because he and Fergusons character Jenny Lind parted on such poor terms – having jeopardised his marriage to Charity.
This could very well also lead to Zac Efron helming the sequel with Zendaya, who played his characters high-flying trapeze artist love Anne Wheeler.
