Cardi B may think she was meant for the Little Mix collaboration, but Jade Thirlwall thinks not.
The Little Mix singers sided with queen Nicki Minaj on Monday night as the rappers feud with Cardi escalated on Instagram.
The girls screengrabbed a chat, timestamped July 24, that appeared to prove they went to Nicki with the song first, not Cardi.
We just want to clarify, they wrote: Nicki was approached first.
They added: Sorry Cardi hun but this is the T – weve always wanted the Queen. (No shade)
Jade also appeared to hop on Instagram to like a sharp comeback from Nicki that insisted the band has been trying to make a collaboration happen for seven years.

Nicki was responding to a video Cardi posted online, in which she claims the rap on Woman Like Me was originally meant for her, but she turned it down.

An IG account for Jade (that Queen Nicki herself follows) liked the rappers clapback that said: Stop trying to distract everyone about the fact that you lied about Rah beating your head in.
Babe we all get deals & turn them down. Same with songs dummy. Little Mix has been trying to get me on a song for 7 years. I finally found one I loved. Yes I passed on G Easy. Whats ur point babe? Have you ever written a rap?
And as soon as Nicki saw what she thought was Jades support, she tweeted again to say: Btch Jade from Little Mix said KNOTTTTTT on my watch (sic).
Bandmate Perrie Edwards similarly publicly liked a post from The Shade Room that also showed Nicki stepping back into the ring with Cardi.
Nicki then retweeted a video from a fan that was captioned: Just a small compilation of the 1000000x Little Mix have said they have wanted a collab with Nicki Minaj, Cardi sweetie stop lying.

The online feud escalated after Nicki offered $100,000 for CCTV footage showing her beating Cardis ass bad.
She told her followers: Anybody that wanna pull up the surveillance footage, I will give you $100,000.
The female rappers literally came to blows after Cardi, 26, confronted her rival over alleged comments about her daughter Kulture.
It resulted in the Bodak Yellow rapper being escorted out of the venue with a nasty looking bump on her forehead while Nicki emerged unscathed.
Nicki now says she beat Cardi like really bad… The hardest punches youve ever heard in your life.
