James Corden has expressed his frustration that chubby actors are never part of the central love story in Hollywood movies, declaring: You never sex.
The Late Late Show host, who has starred in hit TV series and movies like Gavin & Stacey, Trolls and Oceans Eight, feels there is no place for larger actors on-screen when it comes to romance.
James, 40, addressed the exclusion in the latest episode of David Tennants podcast, David Tennant Does a Podcast With.
Using his trademark wit, the comedian explained: If you only watch television or films, if an alien came back and they had to take a reading on planet Earth by just watching films or TV, they would imagine that if you are chubby or fat or big, you never really fall in love, you never have sex.

He added: Certainly no one really ever finds you attractive.
You will be good friends with people who are attractive and often will be a great sense of comfort to them and perhaps chip in with the odd joke every now and again.
It felt like if the world of entertainment was a big banquet table, people are like, “There isnt a seat for you here. I was like, “If thats not going to happen then Im going to try to make something happen for myself”.

James revealed that this on-screen exclusion was the reason he put pen to paper and created sitcom Gavin & Stacey, which ran for three seasons between 2007 and 2010.
In addition to hosting his late night talk show, James movie career is going from strength-to-strength with upcoming roles in Cats, alongside Idris Elba and Taylor Swift, while hes also set to star in sequels Peter Rabbit 2 and Trolls World Tour.
