Jessie J has voiced her annoyance at the VMAs after their social media account commented on her Instagram video, and completely confused her fans.
With just their post of stars, fire, a rose and a wave, Jessies fans were whipped up into a frenzy of believing shed be appearing on stage at this years VMAs, which took place in New York on 21 August.
Bit awkward then that she wasnt even invited to attend.
Spotting the comment, and the aftermath it caused, Jessie J couldnt help but give comment herself, calling the official account out for using her to seemingly drum up interest in the awards show.
No my heartbeats, I wasnt invited, and I wasnt asked to perform, she wrote, while tagging the VMAs account. I only presume these out of nowhere comments are to cause hype to get you guys to watch the show tonight. Ill take that as a compliment.

Fans thanked Jessie J for telling the truth, confessing theyd made plans to stay up into the early hours in a bid to catch a glimpse of her on the Radio City stage.
You should perform or be nominated by the amazing album you created. They dont know what an amazing opportunity theyre letting go, one fan raged.
Others said she should have been the one to pay tribute to Aretha Franklin.
Instead, Madonna gave a brief tribute to the singing legend, who died last week aged 76 from pancreatic cancer, and faced enormous backlash when she seemingly made her tribute all about herself.

Madge took to Instagram to clarify: And just to clarify: I was asked to present video of the year by MTV! And then they asked me to share any anecdotes I had in my career connected to Aretha Franklin! I shared a part of my journey and thanked Aretha for inspiring me along the way.
