The Joker is certainly giving Joaquin Phoenix the run around.
Because another exhilarating chase scene ensued on the New York City set on Sunday, capturing Joaquins Crown Prince of Crime on the run from the law again.
Dressed in full clown make-up and a bold three piece suit, the Joker certainly wasnt a hard fugitive to spot with the Gotham Police Department on his tail.

But actors Shea Whigham and Bill Camp still had a tough job keeping up with whippet Joaquin, who pelted through the Bronx at impressive pace, leaving a path of destruction to trip up the officers.

Pedestrians and moving cars werent about to slow the Joker in his tracks but as soon as it looked like hed evaded capture, Joaquins character stopped to puff on yet another cigarette.
Walk The Line actor Joaquin was completely disguised by white clown make-up, a red nose and a menacing fake smile.

His hair, meanwhile, was slicked back in the distinctive Joker green, to offset his red and orange suit.
Sundays scenes seemed to precede footage taken in a New York subway in October, in which the Joker cooly walks past police officers as they pursue in the opposite direction.
The film, directed by Todd Phillips, is thought to take place in Gotham City in the 1980s and will be an origins story, as we find out more about the man behind the character, Arthur Fleck.
The film synopsis reveals: Under the direction of Todd Phillips, the film centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen.
