Keri Russell is reportedly in early talks to star in Star Wars: Episode IX, reuniting with director J.J. Abrams.
The pair previously worked together on 2006s Mission: Impossible III, with Keri also having starred in The Americans, Felicity and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
According to Variety, Russell has been selected for a role which involves action-heavy fight scenes with production to begin at the end of the month.
Considering we discovered in The Last Jedi Reys parents were nobodies, could Keri be potentially cast as Daisy Ridleys on-screen parents and have a more interesting path than weve been led to believe?
Star Wars: Episode IX will see J.J. Abrams return to the helm, after successfully rebooting the franchise in 2015s Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
