Kym Marsh has revealed shes set to become a grandmother, with her daughter Emilie expecting her first child.
The 42-year-old Coronation Street actress has stated shes over the moon at becoming a grandmother – even though she might be opting for a different title when the time comes.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Kym said: Ive always looked forward to having grandchildren. Although Im not relishing being called Grandma so Ive been researching alternative names!
Weve both had time to get our hands around it and now were both over the moon. It makes me feel so emotional that my baby is having a baby of her own.
Emilie, 21, is set to have her first child with her boyfriend of six months, with Kym stating how becoming a young mum seems to be a pattern in the family considering she herself fell pregnant aged 18.

When I saw it was positive I started crying my eyes out because I was so overwhelmed.
Along with Emilie, Kym has two other children in 23-year-old David with former partner Dave Cunliffe and Polly, 7, with ex-husband Jamie Lomas.
Kim is now dating Army Major Scott Ratcliff, having confirmed their romance earlier this year.
