BTS might be in for some stiff competition – from the original K-Pop boys.
Veteran group SHINHWA teased fans with a poster they dropped on their website and social media about their return to the music world. The message simply read:
SHINHWA 20: Coming Soon.
The longest running K-Pop band in the industry is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, released a remake of one of their classic tracks, All You Dreams.
Formed just shy of the 21st century, in 1998, the band, whose name means Legend, are the OGs – dance numbers? Theyve got them. Catchy refrains? That too. An international following? Three ticks there.
They debuted with SM Entertainment, which represents both EXO and Red Velvet, and remained together despite mandatory military service and multiple management changes.
SHINHWA made a special appearance on Music Banks 20th anniversary show.

Eric, Minwoo, Dongwan, Hyesung, Jun Jin, and Andy were the pioneer K-Pop boy band and their rebooted 2000 track In Your Dreams had a nostalgic sound with a fun feel.

In 2008, they went on hiatus as the six men completed military service, and they became the first K-Pop boyband to reunite after the military.
Fans cant wait for their return.
One person on Twitter simply wrote: LEGENDS ARE COMING.
Another added: Cant wait for what they have in store for us!!!!
A third fan said SHINHWA was their first stan band (like a pre-A.R.M.Y): SHINHWA was my first “HHOMAY-IM-GONNA-STAN” kind of kpop group.
