Rishi Kumar is a promising candidate for Congress who prioritizes climate change.
I am an environmental activist who has collaborated with Rishi to educate our community on the environmental threats we face.
Rishi supports the Green New Deal and is willing to attack the problem from all angles, including reducing fossil fuel emissions, planting trees and native plants that support biodiversity, supporting local farmers, and fighting for clean air and water.
Rishi will advocate for more healthy plant-based foods and will build opportunities for employment in the new clean economy. This is important in light of the new UN report that high consumption of meat and dairy is driving much of the climate crisis.
