Sarah Connor is back – and looking fiercer than ever.
Yep Linda Hamilton herself has been snapped on the set of the upcoming sixth Terminator film and fans are over the moon to see Sarah back; joining her in this as-yet untitled movie is Black Mirror star Mackenzie Davis, who has also been snapped on set with some very unique looking scarring on her skin.
It is not yet known if Mackenzie is playing a cyborg or a resistance fighter, but these first pictures are a good sign of things to come.
Pictured on set in a black T-shirt, combat trousers and a bullet-proof vest – that is also holding grenades – Linda as Sarah looks ready to kick some Terminator ass and fan page The Terminator Fans have the first exclusive look.
The sixth film will ignore all the Terminator movies after 1991s Judgment Day and will instead reportedly focus on a younger lead who producers, including James Cameron, hope could lead the franchise should the first film be successful.
Cameron has previously declined to reveal the nature of the new Terminator villain at the event but Arnold Schwarzenegger – who starred as the titular cyborg in the first film – confirmed that it will not be titled Terminator 6, but will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, ignoring other timelines that have taken place on screen.

Diego Boneta, Natalia Reyes and Gabriel Luna have also joined the cast.
The Terminator was a 1984 action movie that starred Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, whose son John would one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future.
The machines failed to prevent John from being born and so in the sequel they try again, this time attempting to terminate him as a child by using a more advanced Terminator, the T-1000.
However an older John also sends back a reprogrammed T-800 (Model 101) Terminator to protect his young self and although John and the T-800 are successful, the T-800 recognises it must be destroyed ahead of any reverse engineering.
The film ended with Sarah and John with an uncertain future but with the knowledge that if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.
