Little Mix win Best British Group at BBC 1 Teen Awards and give first performance of Woman Like Me

Little Mix have been teasing their fans with their fifth album for what feels like forever now.

But with their release date just around the corner, the girls took to the stage at the BBC 1 Teen Awards and belted out their new hit Woman Like Me.

The girls put on their best dance moves as they opened their set with Touch before breaking into their new hit.

Fans couldnt contain their excitement over the performance and took to Twitter to rave over the band.

One wrote: Shoutout to @LittleMix. Ive already listen to your new single “Woman Like Me”. I do love the song very much and it was an amazing song. Nice one.

Keep that up. Love yall so much, babies and yall should know that.

While another added: theyre flawless i love them so much.

Someone else commented: Little Mix were worth all the nerves of not actually being a teen. QUEENS.

The girls then went onto with the Best British Group Award, where they thanked their Mixers for all of their support.

Jesy Nelson took centre stage and spoke on behalf of the group, who surrounded their pal as she gave her speech.

After thanking her team, the 27-year-old said: And most of all, our incredible Mixers. You guys are literally the best fans in the world.

We love you so much, and thank you so much for all of the support youve given us over the past seven years.

She added: We love you so much.

Earlier this week the girls spoke about their upcoming album and revealed that they hope it resonates with the LGBT community.

Jade Thirlwall told Star Magazine: We definitely had our LGBTQ fan base in mind when writing this album.

There are a couple of songs on there that are about loving yourself and there are a few references to being gay.

She added: Whenever I go on a gay night out, I tend to get a bit swamped, but everyones lovely.

Its really nice. Its like being around family and I think thats why Ive sort of been drawn to that community a lot.
