EXCLUSIVE: Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Magnificent Seven, Murder on the Orient Express) and Karl Glusman (Netflixs Gypsy) have come aboard Sony/FilmNations WWII film Greyhound, written by and starring Tom Hanks. Aaron Schneider is directing the piece, which centers around an international convoy of 37 Allied ships, led by Captain Krause (Hanks) in his first command of a U.S. destroyer, while hotly pursued by wolf packs of Nazi U-boats.
Previously announced cast includes Elisabeth Shue, Rob Morgan, and Stephen Graham.
Hanks adapted the script from The Good Shepherd novel by English author C.S. Forester. The two-time Oscar winner will also produce alongside his Playtone partner Gary Goetzman.
Garcia-Rulfo upcoming film slate includes Sicario: Day of the Solado, Steve McQueens Widows, and the indie drama Mary, starring Gary Oldman. Hes repped by WME, Genuine Artists and Ilene Feldman Management. Glusman is represented by WME, Ilene Feldman Management, and Ziffren Brittenham.
Glusman, who recently appeared in Tom Fords Nocturnal Animals and The Neon Demon opposite Elle Fanning, WME, Ilene Feldman Management, and Ziffren Brittenham.
