Mark Ruffalo has revealed he opted out of the group Avengers tattoo – because hes punk rock, dude.
(Although if he does decide he wants to get involved, hes only got seven months to get it sorted.)
The original six Avengers – Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Ruffalo – were all set to get the matching tattoo after Johansson and Evans were the first to get inked, but Ruffalo has now admitted why he backed down.
Ive kind of got a punk rock soul, and I felt like, “Dude, everyone has tattoos”. Im going to be punk rock and not get the tattoo! he told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
But then he admitted that his decision to be the cool kid has left him feeling left out.

Honestly, he added more seriously, I feel left out, and Im working up the courage to get needled.
The tattoo is a stylised A intertwined with the number six to reflect the first Avengers film with the six cast members.
It was (Scarlett) Johanssons idea, and she and (Chris) Evans did it in New York, Downey Jr. admitted earlier in 2018.
Then, their New York guy, Josh Lord, who is amazing, flew out to LA, he did me, did (Jeremy) Renner, and then we just bullied (Chris) Hemsworth into doing it, and he got it.
