Marvel fans pay very close attention to everything in the MCU, and the trailer for Avengers: Endgame has been no different.
From callbacks to Infinity War and Age Of Ultron, to Hawkeye finally resurfacing with a brand new look, theres lots of material to comb through.
The latest detail to be spotted by eagle-eyed fans concerns Tony Starks Iron Man suit, particularly the helmet.
At the start of the trailer we find Tony sitting alone with his helmet in front of him, using it to record a message for Pepper Potts.
Instead of going gooey over the emotional moment, some had more pressing concerns like – how could Tony take his helmet off if his suit is created from Nanotech?
So Im rewatching Avengers and just noticed in this scene (not the greatest quality gif) how Tonys glasses are nanotech. They just disappear into his armour! He didnt even need to take them off, but did it because hes that cool. pic.twitter.com/8zaI8ec71u

In Infinity War when Tony, Doctor Strange and Wong battled Thanos henchmen, Tony managed to suit up all in one smooth action simply by pressing his Arc reactor.

Fans wondered how, since he could put on the suit in one movement before, he was able to remove his helmet to send a message back home.
Can someone explain to me how exactly ironman's armor works? Was his helmet removable or didn't just "disappeared" due to his nanotech? pic.twitter.com/n1HhQ1CsQU

There was no helmet in the Iron Man suit Tony wore in Infinity War. It was all nanotech. So i wonder if that trailer scene was from a completely different mission in Endgame

In Infinity War his helmet did get damaged as Thanos pumelled him into the ground on Titan, so that could have thrown the Nanotech off-kilter, leaving him able to take it off.
Alternatively it could be a totally different suit. Were assuming the scene with Tony follows on directly from the end of Infinity War – what if what were seeing happens much later on after Tony could nip back and get a new suit.
With this supposedly being the final film in the current Avengers saga, it would be fitting for him to finish it in an old school suit like the Shell-head we first met back in 2008.
However this person has a good point.
He made the first Iron Man suit in a cave with spare parts. Im sure he used the remaining nanotech to repair the helmet to message Pepper.

Fans who have seen Infinity War will remember the words endgame being uttered by none other than Doctor Strange, shortly before Thanos snap turns him into crumbs.

It came after the battle on Titan, when Tony Stark questions why Stephen decided to give Thanos the Time Stone. Doctor Strange replies: We are in the endgame now.
While this a good observation, we might have had a hint about the whole endgame thing much earlier than that.
In Avengers: Age Of Ultron back in 2015, Stark referenced a so-called endgame when he was talking to his fellow superheroes about the larger threat to the earth.
Tony says: A hostile alien army came charging through a whole in space. Were standing three hundred feet below it. Were the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day but that, up there, thats the endgame. How are you guys planning on beating that?
Steve Rogers/Captain America fires back: Together.
Well lose, Tony says.
Then well do that together, too. Cap replies.
In the scene, Tony points up to space as he speaks and funnily enough, that is exactly where we find him in the opening moments of the Avengers: Endgame trailer.
Is this a sign that were about to lose one of Earths Mightiest Heroes next year? We hope not…
Avengers 4 will hit UK cinemas on 26 April 2019.
