While we try and sift through anything and everything to do with the upcoming Avengers, the theories continue coming thick and fast.
Now one has popped up that links together Thors world with the current even more so and reintroduces us to Erik Selvig, who were glad to see once again.
The man, played by Stellan Skarsgard, suffered an apparent mental breakdown and went a little HAM on his chalkboard way back in Thor: The Dark World. However one fan with a lot of time on their hands has somehow looked back over all his jumbled and rambling notes, which suggest he knew exactly what was going to happen as he spoke with others in the institution.
From the Quantum Realm to Thanos Snap, this fan, known as /u/mushbert on Reddit, seemed to believe Erik plotted it all on his board right in front of our very eyes and now may hold the key to defeating Thanos in the next instalment.
Its ruddy long to read, but you can digest it here.

Basically old mate Mushbert points out the professor has predicted several events in the MCU coming to fruition, after claiming Erik gained all this intel while under the control of the Mind Stone in Lokis Scepter.
While this allowed him to build that fancy portal during the Battle of New York, it also threw him some valuable information that has him privy to this crazy world we now find ourselves in for Avengers 4.
As weve already covered, his chalkboard was a proverbial feast for theory hunters, and this one has concluded Erik cracked the space and time travel theory that has been a heavily dropped one this speculation season, thanks to the mention of Fractal Gateways Connecting Mutipal Branes.
Which also linked back to quantum mechanics and the realm where Ant-Man is currently chilling.
As the redditor pointed out: Perhaps the tech used to “Phase Transit” is combined with other MCU tech to travel between dimensions AND through time simultaneously, perhaps by using Ant-Mans suit with the Binary Augmented Retro Framing tech and a powerful energy source such as an arc reactor. Particularly if this all took place in a location like Sakaar.
This man knows what hes talking about.
Another hint that linked back to the current state of half the Avengers (and universe), AKA, gone, on Eriks board mentioned a Schrödingers cat equation: the notion those who were wiped via Thanos Snap are not quite alive but also not quite dead.

The theory states: Could this be a reference to the 50% of people who were dusted following the snap, they are not quite alive but not quite dead? Perhaps stuck inside the soul stone in a state of limbo?
And that there was a massive fault created by the snap, too, in which the multiverse crashes in on itself. Dont forget that.
This theory goes on to suggest that, feeling a tad guilty about his actions, including sacrificing his adopted daughter, Gamora, to complete the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos tries to reverse The Snap by doing it again. That only serves to eff stuff up even more so, create a larger rip, and then apparently gives us the Fantastic Four and mutants.
Theres a lot to digest here, we warned you.

Hes thus far starred in Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). So that leaves one more and could it be Avengers 4?
