Southern California-based SpaceX founder Elon Musk announced Monday that Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa will be the first private citizen to purchase a ticket on a lunar mission. Maezawa vowed to invite as many as eight artists to join him on the journey, which is expected to lift off sometime in 2023.
