MALIBU — Eight months after her Malibu mansion was destroyed in the Woolsey fire, Miley Cyrus has filed paperwork to begin building a new home, RadarOnline.com reported Wednesday.
Radar obtained the permit Cyrus, 26, filed in the city of Malibu on July 2, requesting permission to begin excavating a plot of land where her $2.5 million mansion once stood. The paperwork reflects that Cyrus paid $412.33 for the permit for the excavation and drilling to take place at her former home.
Cyrus now-husband Liam Hemsworth posted an image of the property on Instagram after the home burned in November 2018:
