A mother of two young boys was shot and killed in front of her Brooklyn home and police say they are looking for the victim's ex-boyfriend who cops claim is armed and dangerous.
Gun shots rang out around 10:30 Sunday night in the area of St. Nicholas and Menahan streets in Bushwick, where cops say they found 24-year-old Sade Sanchez with multiple gunshot wounds to her torso.
Sanchez, who was with her own mother when the bullets went flying, was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police said they are looking for 26-year-old Gabriel Rivera, who is considered armed and dangerous. The suspect's motive for the shooting was still unclear early Monday.
A family friend of Sanchez's said she has two boys, ages 3 and 5, and the ex-boyfriend is the father.
"Deep down I think hes really a good dude," Joseph Ayala said. "I just think that love hit him the wrong way."
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
