Neighbours Chloe has always carried a little torch for Elly, but it looks like things are set to come to a head when the pair share a passionate snog after Elly is dealt some bad news.
Having got on the wrong side of her new boss Jane, Elly is stunned when she ends up getting fired after Dipis meddling over her tardiness and lack of professionalism.
She confides in Chloe and the two spend a fun afternoon together, which cheers Elly up no end as they share wine and giggles together.
But has Chloe entirely misread the situation when things get a little electric between them and she leans in for a kiss? Will Elly kiss her back?
Actress April Rose Pengilly exclusively spoke to metro.co.uk about the kiss and revealed she convinced the writers to show Chloes bisexual side.
When I first started I had a scene where Chloe has a flirt with Elly and says “if you ever want to mix it up give me a call”, so I actually spoke to one of the head writers when I first began on the show about that storyline and that character, and he said “further down the line we do want to explore Chloes bisexuality further,” she told us.
Knowing I had that scene coming up I was like “Maybe Chloe and Elly could have that scene”. He was like “no absolutely not, I dont think Elly would be up for it” and of course that scene aired and all the fans loved it. So the producers listened to the fans and thats what happens next.
But will Elly reciprocate her feelings? Could she end up cheating on Mark with is own sister? Shes initially left stunned by the kiss and tries to brush it off, but its all she can think about. She decides she needs to do something to prove her feelings – and proposes to Mark. Chloe is shocked but tries to brush off the kiss too, although is she harbouring some unresolved feelings?
