New Game of Thrones Behind-the-Scenes Videos Show Off Tiny Stark Kids

Celebrities

HBO released a slew of new behind-the-scenes Game of Thrones videos on its YouTube channel Monday morning, specifically interviews with a slew of stars and fan-favorite supporting actors. Titled “The Cast Remembers,” these videos feature what looks to be cut footage from the big documentary Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, which HBO is planning to air on Sunday, May 26—the week after the series wraps up for good. In the clips, actors are asked a series of questions, including about their memories from their first days on set. For some of the younger actors involved with the show, this means flashback behind-the-scenes footage of some of the biggest stars in the world when they were genuinely tiny.

See, for example, a 12-year-old Maisie Williams talking about flinging food at newfound friend and co-star Sophie Turner.

Or a 15-year-old Turner speaking from the set of Season 2 and describing the acting lesson she learned from Lena Headey.

And, most adorably of all, a 10-year-old Isaac Hempstead Wright deploying some early spoiler-dodging by describing Brans Season 1 fall from the tower as a “climbing accident.”

All the other stars—like Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, and Emilia Clarke—are also here to talk about their humble beginnings, and what they think of the show ending. But those trying to emotionally prepare themselves for the end of Thrones might want to pay close attention to who else gets a video of their very own here. Do clips of Iain Glen, a.k.a. Jorah Mormont; Liam Cunningham, a.k.a. Ser Davos; and Rory McCann, a.k.a. the Hound, all saying goodbye mean we should be worried about the futures of these characters? Well, at least the space Clarke and Williams find in their own videos to talk about their frequent scene partners Glen and McCann means that if we wind up crying some tears over these fallen friends this season, we wont be alone.
