Another day, another sweet sweet Avengers theory – and this one may just resolve one of our biggest heartbreaks from Infinity War.
During the battle for Wakanda when Shuri was attempting to safely remove the Mind Stone from Visions head, the superhero died when time ran out and Scarlet Witch made the decision to remove the stone from her lover, killing him to save the rest of the universe.
But what if Vision was not dead at all because quick-thinking Shuri had changed her plan without telling anyone?
One eagle-eyed viewer over on Reddit has noticed during a rewatch that when Shuri and Scarlet Witch hear Thanos and co get close, Shuri actually appears to be uploading Visions consciousness back into the computer, copying and pasting his six primary sections to try and preserve him.
These six pathways are represented in the scene as branching off of the Mind stone and as Shuri uploads each pathway, the visual path on her screen turns from orange to blue upon completion.

After changing to blue, the connections disappear but just as the room is taken over, the pathways all flash blue seemingly proving that the upload was a success.
And if it was – well, whats to stop Shuri from using her Wakandan technology to bring Vision back to fight again?
Regardless of what Shuri does and doesnt do, we still have a few, read: many, months to go until we get to see what truly is going down in Avengers 4.

Despite that, set pictures and fan theories and tidbits thrown to us by the Russo brothers seem to suggest time travel will have to play a role with many fans under the strong belief that the characters will travel back in time to prevent Thanos from collecting all those Infinity Stones and getting all snap-happy and eliminating half the population.
This isnt new – but what is new, is another theory that Tony Stark may mess with the timeline of Loki, RIP, meaning he might not be so RIP anymore. Or, at least, be able to prevent The Snap.
Punters over at Screen Rant, though, uncovered a shot of Robert Downey Jnr on set as Tony back in December 2017, clad in a S.H.I.E.L.D. tactical vest, proposing Iron Man had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. and THIS is where things reach a new level.

As they point out, Nick Fury had previously sported the uniform when he was tasked with looking after Loki on the Helicarrier, suggesting someone like Tony Stark now has the task to guard him after the Battle of New York – all incognito with a face mask.
Has he infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. to either learn crucial information about Thanos from Loki? Or perhaps to impart knowledge he already knows to the God of Mischief for his own, er, mischievous use?
At the end of the day we might be well off the money – but boy isnt it fun trying to figure this all out?
