Nick Knowles to make Christmas number one? (Picture: ITV)

Im A Celebrity viewers had a bit of a shock last night after Nick Knowles admitted to jamming with Biffy Clyro.

Yes, you read that right.

The DIY SOS star, completely blew our minds when he explained how he was asked by someone from Universal Records to put out an album.

While chatting to Emily Atack, he said: Ive always played. My brothers a really good musician and Ive always played along with him and a couple of years ago somebody heard me, I was playing on a rooftop bar in Soho with some other bands…

Somebody from a record company saw me doing it and I got a phone call saying, “Im from Universal, want to do an album?”

He later revealed in the Bushtucker Telegraph: Its probably best not to say who they are because it would be embarrassing for them more than anything else…

And the 56-year-old just couldnt keep in who it was, as he added: Ended up playing with this band… Actually, they wont mind, theyre nice lads, it was Biffy Clyro…

When the presenter confessed to his secret singing career, viewers flocked to YouTube to unearth some of Nicks tunes.

And we think they were probably pleasantly surprised.

Under his VEVO back in 2017, Nick had posted up a clip of him playing guitar and singing Adeles hit as he plugged his album: Nick Knowles, Every Kind Of People.

Little did he know that a year down the line, people would be rooting for it to make the Christmas number one.

Since then fans have gone wild, and even Chris Moyles tried to rally up support for Nick by blasting his cover of Adeles Make You Feel My Love on his radio show.

He tweeted: We are trying to get @MrNickKnowles into the official chart with his version of Make you feel my love. Please BUY it from itunes today, its only 99p!

Before revealing that the star had ranked at number one in the iTunes download chart – amazing.
