After walking from the Im A Celebrity jungle after only eight days during the 2010 season, Corrie actor Nigel Havers has admitted he had to quit or he would have killed somebody.
Sounds quite dramatic, doesnt it?
But he joked he was deadly serious (pun intended), as he reminisced on his time in the jungle as part of the 10th series.
Tl;dr: He didnt enjoy it at all.
The man, who plays Lewis Archer in the ITV soap, was asked whether or not he would stand to watch Im A Celeb now, just two episodes in, as Piers Morgan said on Good Morning Britain: Is it like being a war vet, can you watch it?
Nigel replied: I do not watch it at all.

The 67-year-old continued: To be honest, if Id have stayed there I would have killed somebody.
The name was Lembit Öpik. And I was just about to murder him.
Which would have done everyone a favour, I know.
Piers replied of Nigels comment toward the former MP: Probably would have made you a national hero.
While Nigel couldnt muster up the guts to endure a painful electric shock Kangaroo Court task (can hardly blame him, right?) he did take the time to think about what he wanted to do to Lembit, who he famously fought with during their limited time in the bush together.
It was very simple I was just going to strangle him in the night, he said. But I thought, I really meant I was going to kill him.
Nigel sensationally quit after butting heads over the task.

Im not up for it, I dont do electric shocks so Im leaving, he said at the time. I cannot waste another second of my life. I will probably do something drastic like probably go.

He walked on the 22 November, becoming the first campmate to leave, while Lembit was the second to be eliminated four days later.
