NUEST star JR has confirmed NUEST W is over and the band will reunite as a five-piece as of next year.
The K-pop boy band formed subgroup NUEST W after group member Minhyun was selected as a member of Wanna One during TV series Produce 101.
Rather than disbanding entirely, remaining NUEST stars JR, Aron, Baekho and Ren continued to promote as a four-member unit, with the additional W in their name standing for wait as they held out for Minhyuns return.
With Minhyuns contract as a member of Wanna One up in January 2019, JR has confirmed NUEST W is officially over.
During their final unit concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, JR reportedly told the crowd: We will become the NUEST that will continue to progress slowly, little by little, in the future.
