Theres no mistaking that Rita Ora has arrived at Capitals Summertime Ball.

The headliner made sure her presence was known in the most neon outfit she could muster – with the kind of style only she could pass off.

Dropping by for a chat with Roman Kemp before hitting the stage, Rita looked ready for action to shut down the epic festivities with her party anthems.

Rita is coming as the cherry on the top of a whole day of epic music – including Camila Cabello, who performed before zooming off to join Taylor Swift back on her UK tour.

Years and Years also performed, with the lead singer Olly Alexander even jumping to Ritas defence following the backlash of her most recent single, Girls.

The vid, which saw her lock lips with Cardi B, resulted in some accusing her of belittling the bisexual community, and caused her to confirm her sexual orientation as bi before urging everyone to move on.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the Summertime Ball today, Olly fought for her cause and said that it was unfair that she was essentially forced to come out.

We cant police the way people express their sexuality, he said, before the trio took to the stage at Wembley Stadium.

I think the whole situation was a bit grim because it feels like Rita was forced to come out. Which I think was quite sad and I felt sorry for her.

But we have to listen to the voices in the community who did have a problem with the song and how bisexuality is represented is important to people.

There is a lot of erasion that happens with bisexual people, so I understand the backlash, but I think Rita has been dealing with it pretty well and I support her and I support the girls on that song.

Get ready to shut the whole evening down in style Rita!
