Robin Williams played the role of Mrs Doubtfire to perfection – and enjoyed doing it so much that he continued even when he wasnt on set.
The late actor apparently once took to the streets of San Francisco – where the 90s movie was filmed – dressed as the much-loved character… and no-one even noticed.
According to the cast of the film, Robin was a constant performer, and naturally just so gifted at putting on a show and entertaining everybody around him.
Speaking on the US TODAY show, Pierce Brosnan, Mara Wilson, Lisa Jakub and Matthew Lawrence revealed their fond memories of the late actor, and Lawrence admitted that he even once took him out while still in character.
Nobody knew, he recalled. They thought [he was] my nanny. And he played it off and sat down with these other two British ladies. They didnt even know, it was incredible!
The cast also got emotional when talking about the comedy legend, who died in 2014.

Robin was like a guiding source, Lawrence said. He would just all of a sudden, out of the blue look over and be like, “Dont do drugs. They really messed up my brain, Im serious. Do not do them.” That stuck with me.
Brosnan described him as Deeply human, kind, generous, loving, while Wilson, who was just five during filming, added: A constant performer. Naturally just so gifted at putting on a show and entertaining everybody around him.
The actress recently revealed that Robin would get her to smile on set by performing a freestyle rap about the life of an ant.
She said: He used chopsticks as antennae and at the end of the scene he used them again to get me to smile.
They left that part in, but cut out his song and dance about it. He could really riff on anything.

The role struck a chord with more than just Robins fellow actors, though, and 25 years on, a musical version is underway.
Fox Stage Productions recently said in a statement: Mrs Doubtfire is such a beloved story, both laugh-out-loud hilarious and extremely moving.
Getting this team together and crafting Mrs Doubtfire for the stage has been pure joy. We cant wait to get into production.
