The tri-state area saw heavy rain and flash floods on Sunday as a second day of spotty rain soaked the tri-state area.
Scattered showers were expected to continue overnight Sunday, with the possibility of flash flooding, Storm Team 4's Raphael Miranda said.
The weather is expected to be humid and stick through Tuesday, with the temperature expected to be close to 90 on Wednesday.
A flash flood warning issued for Brooklyn on Sunday lasted until 3:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

In Caldwell, major damage was reported to the municipal building, library and community center parking deck, police said.

At Route 66 Nissan, in Totowa, New Jersey, meanwhile, a bystander captured video of cars floating down a flooded path away from the dealership, crashing into one another, overturning and getting stuck in some nearby foliage.
A house was struck by lightning Sunday in Edison, New Jersey.
