A second arrest has been made in connection with XXXTentacions murder case.
Michael Boatwright is one of two armed suspects who confronted the rapper, real name Jahseh Onfroy, outside Riva Motorsports in June, where he later lost his life.
The 22-year-old had been arrested on 5 July for an unrelated drug charge before being served with a warrant for first degree murder while in custody five days later, according to Browards Sheriffs Office.
Court documents revealed Boatwright was pulled over for tinted windows. Officers smelt marijuana and then discovered six grams of crack cocaine in his pocket.
Dedrick Williams, 22, is currently in custody on one count of first degree murder.
The police are still looking for the second gunman as well as Robert Allen, who they have identified as a person of interest.
The rapper was shot and died at the scene, and a statement from Broward County Sheriffs Office said the incident was likely robbery as his Louis Vuitton bag was stolen.
