Sir Paul McCartney is returning home to the venue credited as the birthplace of The Beatles.
The music legend, 76, is set to return to the stage at The Cavern Club for a very special intimate free gig on 26 July.
Sir Paul first played the venue in 1958 with The Quarrymen, and later took to the stage with the Fab Four in the early years since their conception in 1957.
Its an incredibly iconic venue, having housed performances from the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Elton John, Black Sabbath, and Queen.
Cilla Black once worked there as a hat check girl.
The musician hinted to fans that the secret gig was set to be special, as during an interview with Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, he revealed: We are playing the Echo Arena in December but the thing is we also have, tomorrow, we have a little secret gig somewhere in Liverpool.
The club opened in 1957 as a jazz club and became a rock and roll club in the 60s.

Fans queued overnight in the hope of getting their hands on a free ticket, which became available at 10am, with no guarantees of them even getting in.
During his chat with Jarvis Cocker, as well as dropping hints of a secret gig, he also dropped a truth bomb which was absolute TMI.
The 76-year-old sat down for a chat with Jarvis Cocker on Wednesday at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts as McCartney, who co-founded the university in his home city in 1996, sat in front of 450 students and a Facebook live stream.
Despite the large audience, McCartney had no qualms (over)sharing about his sex life. Proving his sharp sense of humour, the musician quipped: Im now heavily into S&M. I grew to like it!
