A woman was killed and a man seriously injured after a truck crashed down an embankment in Felton in unincorporated Santa Cruz County late Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the crash was first reported at 11:53 p.m. on Felton-Empire Road just west of Fetherston Way. The vehicle fell more than 100 feet down the embankment. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
