Sir Paul McCartney and Stormzy may seem like an unlikely pair.
However, the duo appeared to hit it off when the 25-year-old rapper asked Paul to teach him something – and that something turned out to be how to play any song on the piano.
Seriously – any song!
Chatting to the Sunday Times, Stormzy reflected on his time with The Beatles star and revealed what the pair got up to when they first met.
He said: I was just so compelled, in the presence of someone that great, to get advice – anything for my career an OG like him can give me.
But I know the stigma that comes with being a rapper, so I introduced myself as a songwriter: “Can you teach me something?”

The Big For Your Boots hitmaker added: He went to the piano, and I just thought, “Shut up, listen.” What he taught me was incredible. He said: “Use these three chords, and make any song.” I was, like: “Flipping heck!”
Both Paul and Stormzy met this summer following the 76-year-olds intimate show at Abbey Road Studios.
And it seems Paul had just as much fun during the impromptu piano lesson as his student.
He previously spoke to the publication about their meeting and revealed what hed taught the young star on the piano.
The Hey Jude singer said: Stormzy asked for advice. Hes looking to advance his music.
As a rapper, I thought hed have words down, but there was a piano, so I showed him basic stuff – how you get middle C, make a chord, a triad and, just by moving that, get D minor, E minor, F, G, A minor.
And how thats enough for anyone.
Stormzy has recently opened up about being stabbed three times – but brushed it off as he thought it was normal.
Opening up about the ordeal, he recalls how a past visit to the West Midlands for a project management course was an eye-opening experience.

He told the Sunday Times magazine: In the room were 17 white kids. I had a scar on my head, and someone goes, “What happened?”. I said, “Oh, I got stabbed”.
I will never forget. I was explaining, “I got stabbed here, there, there”. They had faces of horror — and thats when it dawned on me. Where I come from is mad. Of course its shocking Ive been stabbed. Of course it shouldnt be normal.
