K-pop boyband SuperM have teased a futuristic sound for their release of their upcoming debut EP.
The supergroup, which was launched by both SM and Capitol Music Group, consists of seven members from other popular K-pop boybands – EXOs Baekhyun and Kai, WayVs Lucas and Ten, NCT 127s Mark and Taeyoung, and SHINees Taemin.
Theyre planning on dropping their first EP together in October, having already teased fans with the release of the instrumental track I Cant Stand The Rain.
And although the boys have been keeping pretty tight-lipped about their upcoming release, Mark has revealed that the sound is more advanced than ever before.
Were doing something futuristic and more advanced than what the world has ever seen, he told Billboard.
Sounds pretty exciting – and October is just around the corner, guys!
Baekhyun, who is both the leader and oldest member of SuperM, has also admitted that the idea of the group is a new challenge, but the members also have an awesome synergy.

There are a lot of expectations, because even though this is new, each of us comes from a different group, he said.
But theres this awesome synergy between us.
SuperM was officially launched in August by both Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment and US company Capitol Music Group, with the groups name being a nod to SM.
Capitol CEO Steve Barnett has said that the group will be part of our legacy to the future.
However, some fans were not impressed with the announcement of the group – even going as far as to trend #SuperMDisbandParty on Twitter, fearing that the groups continued success would impact on the futures of their favourite existing K-pop acts.
But regardless, SuperM are proving to go the distance – and as well as their EP, they also have a collaboration with Marvel in the works, with the group in talks to create their own place in the comic book universe.
