The Cleveland Browns Might Draft Two Quarterbacks With Their Top Picks

The Cleveland Browns have reportedly taken a hard look at drafting two quarterbacks.

This draft season, particularly over the last six weeks, I have asked multiple members of the Cleveland Browns organization — which owns picks no. 1 and 4, in addition to three second-rounders — what I thought was a very stupid question: Have you considered ignoring all norms and drafting two quarterbacks high in the draft? The answer is yes. The people I asked have thought about it, discussed it, and investigated it.

Most people probably hate this idea, but I do not. Now, dont get confused. Im not saying the Browns should do it. Im not saying that at all.

What Im saying is that there are worse options out there. The Browns have been absolutely awful for a very long time, and I fail to see how it could get much worse. If the organization is split on a signal-caller, then I could see them drafting two. It allows them to get two rolls of the dice. Drafting two quarterbacks also gives them a huge chip to trade with. Plus, if one turns out to be absolutely awful, the Browns still have another option.

Yes, it sounds extremely weird, but I understand the logic. The only thing to figure out is who theyd take. Ill let the big money makers in Cleveland figure that out for themselves. Im not handing out free advice here.
