Tom Cruise is clearly having the best time on the Top Gun 2 set.
After the 56-year-old was spotted laughing and joking with new co-star Miles Teller – in matching outfits no less – he was later seen getting acquainted with a jet.
Photos from the set show the star climbing out of the cockpit of a F14 plane, surrounded by the cast and crew members.
Seeing as the actor, who played Maverick in the original film, has previously hurt himself while performing his own stunts, we can understand why everyone looks a tiny bit worried.
Miles also appeared to be shooting a scene in the fighter plane, on set in Lake Tahoe, California.
Far from glamorous, the pair have been filming in the snow, with the 31-year-old sporting a grey beanie hat to keep himself warm in between takes.

Top Gun: Maverick is expected in cinemas on 26 June, 2020, after being pushed back from a previous release date, next July.
The sequel will see the Mission: Impossible actor reprise his iconic role as Pete Maverick Mitchell – but this time hes a captain and instructor, not a trainee.
Which makes sense as the first film came out all the way back in 1986.
Val Kilmer will also be back as his rival, Iceman, and is thought to be playing a commander in the sequel.
Jonn Hamm, Jennifer Connolly and Ed Harris will be starring in the film – which is being directed by Joseph Kosinski.
Tom has gained a reputation on set for wanting to do most of his own stunts in the past.
And in true Tom Cruise style, it has been reported the actor wanted to master flying the fighter jets himself, which led to a slight delay in filming.

He already has a licence to fly planes but isnt qualified to fly fighter jets, which hes now learning to do, a source told The Sun.
He wont film all the flight sequences — its too dangerous — but he will fly some, making him the first actor in cinema history to do so.

The producers would prefer not to put their leading man, not to mention their whole film, at risk.
Flying fighter jets, completing his own stunts, is there nothing Tom wont do to perfect his roles?
