Watford are reportedly ready to swoop for Theo Walcott and Luke Shaw this January.
Both Englishmen have struggled for minutes on the pitch this season and are on the fringes of their respective club’s squad.
Manchester United defender Shaw has made just one Premier League squad so far, while Walcott has played just 47 minutes in the top flight for Arsenal.

Indeed, Walcott had failed to make the last seven league match day squads before his brief cameo against Liverpool last Friday.
Watford are eager to strengthen in January after a dip in form and Marco Silva is convinced he can kickstart Shaw’s career, according to the Express.

Shaw has tried and failed to work his way into Jose Mourinho’s good books and the manager is reportedly plotting to bring in a replacement.
Silva has breathed new life into Watford in his time there, but the Hornets boss is not so confident when it comes to Walcott.
There are concerns about Walcott’s drive and Silva has questioned whether the speedy attacker has the correct attitude to thrive at Watford.

Walcott has seriously fallen out of favour at Arsenal despite previously being an integral member of Arsene Wenger’s squad.
Wenger has been searching for other options in his squad with Alexis Sanchez’s form slipping, but Walcott has consistently been overlooked this term.
Arsenal and United are suggested to being open to doing deals for their outcasts, but it remains to be seen if the pair are keen to restart their careers elsewhere.
