The new Arctic Monkeys album has officially been announced, and its safe to say that people are excited.
One month today – 11 May, 2018 – Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, the Arctics sixth album, will drop.
Alongside this, the Sheffield lads will be going on a worldwide tour, concluding right here in the UK.

September 9/10 – The O2 Arena, London
September 15 – Birmingham Arena
September 18/19 – FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield
September 24 – 3Arena, Dublin
September 27 – Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle

Tickets are on sale Friday, 13 April, at 9am and its expected theyll sell out fast.
You can get them through Ticketmaster, SeeTickets, and AXS, but on all sites there will be a strict four ticket limit per person.

According to some sites, there will be a big crackdown on resale too, with tickets immediately becoming invalid if sold or offered for resale (on anything other than face-value fan-to-fan site Twickets).
On the SeeTickets website it states that youll need to be with the lead booker who purchased the tickets, and provide ID when you come in. If you dont, youll be refused entry to the gig.
Whether thats be enforced remains to be seen, but its worth thinking about if youre planning on touting and making some cash.
Fans have already railed against the price of tickets, as although theyre supposed to start at around £35, some sites will be charging up to £80.
Some called it daylight robbery while others urged Turner et al to snap out of it.

It seems the tickets will still sell out very quickly, though, so if youre planning on going, wed urge you to have your card details ready come Friday morning.
