The 2018 PDC World Championship has been full of upsets, thrilling contests and exceptional darts, but unfortunately it is coming to an end.
The storyline dominating the tournament is that it is Phil Taylor’s last, with the legendary 57-year-old calling it a day after one last crack at the world title.

The Power already has 16 world championships to his name, but he would love to finish off his sensational career with one more and secure a fairytale ending to his time on the oche.
Standing in his way is the reigning champion, world number one and tournament favourite Michael van Gerwen who will have no qualms at all in ruining Taylor’s swansong.
When is the PDC World Championship final?
The final is on Monday, January 1 at 8pm and is shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Darts.
When are the semi-finals?
The two semi-finals are tonight (Saturday, December 30) starting at 7.30pm.
Jamie Lewis vs Phil Taylor
Michael van Gerwen vs Rob Cross
Who are Jamie Lewis and Rob Cross?
There are two unfamiliar names in the final four of the World Championship this year, so who are the men that have crashed the party at the Alexandra Palace?
Jamie Lewis has been on the scene for a while, reaching the World Grand Prix quarter-finals in 2015, but has been in poor form for a couple of years and only scraped into this tournament through a PDPA qualifier.
The Welshman (26) has played the tournament of his life here, averaging 107 to knock out number two seed Peter Wright in the second round, and only dropping two sets en route to the semis.
He is the first man in the history of this competition to reach the last four having come through a preliminary round at the start of the tournament.
Rob Cross is making his World Championship debut this year in his first year as a professional darts player – but what a year it has been.
The 27-year-old won four Players Championship events in 2017 and reached the finals of the European Championship.
Going into the World Championship he had already reached world number 20 and now he is set to break the top 10 in just a year.
