If you have somehow still not seen Avengers: Infinity War then there are obviously some spoilers coming up in this article.
The superhero epic has been the highest grossing film of 2018 so far and was a huge hit with Marvel fans as all their favourite characters came together.

However, the film had a pretty tragic ending, leaving audiences heartbroken thanks to the dastardly acts of uber-villain Thanos.
It was a seriously sticky, or dusty, end to Infinity War for a number of our heroes – but which ones are set to be back in the sequel, which is heading our way in 2019.
Thanos (Josh Brolin) ultimately completed his mission at the end of Infinity War, collecting all six Infinity Stones, allowing him to wipe out half the population of the universe with a snap of his fingers.

This saw a load of superheroes simply turn to dust at the end of the movie, floating away to nothing.
Look away now if you dont want this to be spoiled, but here are all the characters that were disintegrated at the end of the film (and a few that died earlier in the movie).

Who else died?
Loki didnt last long at all, dying right at the start of the movie as he tried to kill Thanos, whilst Heimdall is killed just as quickly.
The mad Titan later kills his adopted daughter, Gamora, in order to get the Soul Stone and then Vision is killed twice, once by Scarlet Witch and then again by Thanos after reversing time to get hold of the Mind Stone.
But who of these dead characters are back for Avengers 4?
We know it is not actually called Avengers 4, but with the title as yet unannounced, that will do.
According to the imdb cast listing, the following characters that perished are coming back for the next instalment: Black Panther, Bucky Barnes, Scarlet Witch, Drax and Mantis.
The likes of Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Chris Pratt (Star Lord) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man) are not listed in the cast.

However, Donald McInnes is listed as doing hair and make up for Cumberbatch, whilst Benedict also has a stunt double and an assistant, so surely he will be involved?

Similarly, there is a stunt double listed for Pratt and one for Zoe Saldana (Gamora), but there is no mention of Holland, Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury) or the others.
Could there really be no Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Falcon and the others in the next Avengers movie?
We certainly hope that isnt the case.
