Longtime producing partners Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are going their separate ways after 13 years together.
The pair announced their split on 6 April and ensured their fans that it was an amicable decision.
Projects produced under their Gary Sanchez banner include hits like Vice, Step Brothers, Talladega Nights and the Anchorman and Daddys Home movies.
In 2014, Jessica Elbaum founded the Gloria Sanchez production company as a sister with a focus on the voice of women in comedy.
In a joint statement from both Will and Adam, they said: The last 13 years could not have been more enjoyable and satisfying for the two of us at Sanchez Productions.
We give massive thanks to our incredible staff and executives and all the writers, directors and actors we worked with through the years. The two of us will always work together creatively and always be friends. And we recognize we are lucky as hell to end this venture as such.

Adam has bagged five Oscar nominations including best picture, best director and best original screenplay for Vice and best director and best adapted screenplay for The Big Short.
There was finally a victory when he and Charles Randolph won the Oscar for The Big Short script in 2016.
Will most recently starred in Sonys Holmes & Watson, however, the film received a savage mauling from critics and was rejected by Netflix.
According to Deadline, the negative reaction in early screenings led Sony to attempt to sell the movie to streaming giant, who refused to buy the flick.

This, however, could be a sign Netflix is becoming more selective with its film output – which has enjoyed success this year with the Coen Brothers Ballad Of Buster Scruggs, Annihilation and Alfonso Cuarons Oscar-winning Roma.
Holmes & Watsons critical panning was especially surprising considering the films stellar cast, which includes Ralph Fiennes, Kelly McDonald, Hugh Laurie and Pam Ferris.
