Wireless have explained why DJ Khaled dropped out of his Wireless headline set with just hours to go.
Fans and ticket holders were left baffled when, just 12 hours before his performance, it was announced DJ Khaled was having travel issues and couldnt make it.
What made it even more baffling was that he wasnt caught up in a 20 mile tailback on the M25, he was still on holiday as the 42-year-old had uploaded a picture of himself lounging about in an infinity pool with his son looking like he had no intentions of travelling to London to perform at Finsbury Park.

But the festival organisers have now taken to Twitter to clarify what really went on, he wasnt able to make it as he couldnt get out of filming TV show The Four, and that theyd attempted to find a solution but hadnt managed to.

Due to a scheduling conflict related to filming of the The Four, DJ Khaled was not able to commit to perform at Wireless Festival. Although we have known for a few months and tried to make it work, it wasnt possible, they wrote.

They continued: We take responsibility for not telling fans sooner and want all Khaleds fans in UK to know he truly looks forward to coming to UK to perform soon.

While fans were disappointed, their heartbreak was nursed with the surprise appearance from Drake, who appeared in DJ Khaleds place and appeared at the end of Giggs set.
The 31-year-old also revealed he had cut short a holiday to appear at the festival.
While on stage, he explained: I was on vacation and Ive cut it short to be here with you tonight.
Drizzy, ever the professional, gave his pal DJ Khaled a shout out during the performance. Before getting into Nice For What, he told the crowd: In the words of DJ Khaled, “Another one!”

But while the crowd were expecting a full performance, Drake only sang a handful of songs before bringing the festival to a close with Gods Plan – and an array of fireworks.
It looks like ticket holders who werent happy with Drakes performance wont be likely to receive refunds, as its baked into the Ts & Cs that should this happen, the festival is not liable.
