Wireless Festival pays tribute to XXXTentacion ahead of Post Malone

Wireless festival has paid tribute to XXXTentacion.

The music festival, which took place in Londons Finsbury Park, remembered the SAD! rapper ahead of Post Malones set on the first day of the festival on Friday night.

DJ Tim Westwood warmed up the heaving crowd at the main stage, and played XXXTenatacions track Look At Me.

Fans roared and cheered as the song started, belting out the explicit lyrics.

The musician was shot and killed aged 20 during a robbery in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18, with his death marked by a public memorial in the US last month.

XXXTentacions mum, Cleopatra Bernard, recently announced a London memorial will take place in Hyde Park on 7 July.

The Florida rapper, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was killed while he was leaving a motorcycle dealership, with an arrest warrant recently being issued for person of interest Robert Allen in connection to the incident.

Police have arrested one suspect in the case so far, Dedrick D. Williams, who was taken into custody and pleaded not guilty last month.

Cleopatra also recently posted a picture of the memorial in Florida, writing: My guardian angel.
