Two people are dead after a shooting on a dead-end street on Long Island, police say.
Suffolk County cops say they got a call around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday for a disturbance on Lakeway Drive in West Babylon. Officials say 21-year-old Olivia Digrigoli of West Islip and 22-year-old Anthony St. Hilaire of West Babylon died.
Digrigoli was sitting in a car when she was gunned down, while St. Hilaire was standing outside the vehicle when he was shot, according to authorities. St. Hilaire was rushed to an area hospital, where he died.
Video from the scene shows dozens of police officers and investigators combing the area for clues.
The investigation is ongoing and police didn't elaborate on a description of any suspects.
