No Bond car has ever really matched the DB5 that roared onto the silver screen in 1964s Goldfinger.
And for many its still the first thing that springs to mind when the conversation turns towards James Bond and his gadgets the franchise has become famous for.
Now most of us dont have the £3.53million to splurge out on the real DB5 that was modified by the boffins at Q Branch for Sean Connery to slalom around warehouses and roads, so unfortunately weve never been able to live out our ejector seat dreams.
But, thanks to LEGO, we can now all live out our dreams of driving the classic sports car with a few hidden surprises for a more modest price – £129.99 to be precise.
Going on sale today a 1290-piece kit is going on sale, and the buildable 1:8 scale car features all the gadgets that its larger on-screen version does.

Once assembled the car will allow you to rotate the license plate, trigger the the retractable bullet shield behind the rear window, put to the test the tire slashers on the wheels, and pop out the telephone hidden in the drivers door.
Obviously a concealable tracking computer is stashed away inside the dashboard, while pop-out machine guns under the cars headlights will take out any inconvenient road hogs ahead.
And, most importantly, a functional ejector seat is installed on the passenger side.
This is triggered by pulling the cars rear bumper, which makes the roof slide open and triggers the ejection mechanism.
Unveiled today at the LEGO store Leicester Square by current Bond star Naomie Harris, the car got an A-list debut.
