Youtuber says Alicia Vikander shouldn't be Lara Croft because of the size of her breasts
One youTuber has caused a social media frenzy thanks to his views on Alicia Vikander’s casting as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider (Credit: Warner Bros/Twitter)

She’s become one of the most famous pixel pin-ups to ever grace the screen, with countless gamers getting rather attached to her computer-generated looks.

Fair enough! Each to their own in this modern world of ours and all that.

And many of Lara Croft’s fanbase have been equally surprised and horrified that the video game character’s movie franchise has been rebooted (much like the game series was back in 2013) with Alicia Vikander in the lead role.

Like many, many others, one fan took to Twitter to share his opinion on the topic. And it’s one he really, really shouldn’t have.

‘Do I have to be the asshole who says her tits are too small for me to see her as Lara Croft? Do I have to be that guy? Do I have to be the one who fucking says it? I guess I do. Sorry,’ wrote @amazingatheist.

As you can imagine, this controversial view didn’t go down very well at all – in fact, that’s an understatement.

Needless to say, people were not happy and the tweet and the replies to it went viral.

But you are a massive tit, so it balances out, surely.

I don’t think it’s really that important. She is an outstanding actor. It’s all that matters.

But rather than lay low or just end the whole thing with that one tweet, @amazingatheist has continued to tweet about his views regarding Alicia and her casting as Lara, seemingly reveling in the social media firestorm he’s created.

Sadly, it’s worth pointing out that he has found a fair few supporters for his argument.

But it’s not like the user is new to courting controversy with his opinions as he’s become something of a YouTube sensation over the past 12 years, sharing numerous polarising opinions on a vast array of topics.

To date he’s amassed 378,699,482 views on his official page.
