It cant be easy growing up in Emmerdale and two of the villages youngsters are facing fresh heartache as Amelia Spencers kidnap ordeal takes a new twist. While her location is finally revealed, Daz soon finds himself in the frame for the crime even though he didnt snatch her – so just what is going on?
Elsewhere, Sarah Sugden is doing everything that she can to defy the heart failure diagnosis and after masking her symptoms to her doctor, she sets out to enjoy her school dance – but is she putting herself in serious danger?
In other Dales developments, Ross Barton has a big demand to make of Cain and Debbie Dingle while David Metcalfe may have blown it with Tracy Shankley for good when he gets close to Maya Cavanagh.

Monday 2nd July
Debbie is shocked when Cain tells her that Ross wants them to hand over the garage to him but he tells her that he doesnt plan on giving into it. Later, he instead offers Ross joint ownership of the business.

Daz worries about getting hold of the ransom money and decides on drastic action by arming himself while David and Maya are caught almost sharing a kiss by Dr Cavanagh and a fight breaks out. When Tracy then walks in and hears whats happened, she declares her marriage to David over for good.
Tuesday 3rd July
Daz lies in wait for Beth and when she spots the weapon, she turns back. Later, when Amelia sneaks out, Beth panics and gives chase before telling her about Daz killing her father. Daz spots them together and Beth tells her to run. Later, things get worse for Daz when he is arrested.
Jessie announces she has been offered the headteacher job and later, she agrees to a date with Marlon while Tracy determines to press ahead with the divorce.
Wednesday 4th July
Marlon and Jessie are nervous as their date gets underway and when Jessie then spots pictures of all of Marlons ex-girlfriends dotted about the flat, she gets cold feet and makes a break for it.
David and Maya continue to bond as they discuss their marriage problems.
Thursday 4th July Part One
Debbie and Sarah meet up with a new consultant in the hope of a second opinion but he agrees with the original diagnosis. Desperate to be able to go to the school dance, Sarah plays down her symptoms.
Doug is upset when Diane and Eric make it clear they dont want him back at the B&B.

Thursday 4th July Part Two
Sarah arrives at her dance and is determined to enjoy the night but soon starts to feel unwell. Samson reaches out to her and offers to take her home but she refuses – will she make her condition worse?
Faith makes a joke to Paddy and Chas that they should be having lots of fun before the baby is born, which leaves Chas crushed and Jessie opens up about her fears around getting involved with Marlon.
Friday 5th July
Debbie is devastated when she and Joe go to see the consultant and they are given bad news on Sarahs condition. Elsewhere, Paddy and Chas struggle to cope and keep a lid on their own heartbreak.
Meanwhile, Bob and Laurel put on a united front.
