Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski are growing their family.
The couple have welcomed their second child together, Sadoski’s representative, Erica Gray, confirmed to USA TODAY on Monday. Seyfried and Sadoski shared the news in a joint statement to INARA and War Child USA, which the charities posted on their Instagram accounts.
“Since the birth of our daughter 3 years ago our commitment to the innocent children that are so brutally affected by conflict and war has been a driving force in our lives,” read the statement. “With the birth of our son the work of INARA and War Child has become our North Star.”
Along with the statement, the couple shared a picture of their newborn son.
Sadoski later re-posted the statement and image on his own Instagram, asking for donations to the two organizations that seek to protect children impacted by war.
USA TODAY has reached out to Seyfried’s and Sadoski’s reps for more details.
Seyfried and Sadoski first met on Broadway in 2015 as co-stars in “The Way We Get By,” a Neil LaBute play about a one-night stand, and began dating while shooting their 2017 film “The Last Word.” Seyfried’s publicist, Evelyn Karamanos, confirmed the couple’s engagement to USA TODAY in Sept. 2016.
On March 12, 2017, Sadoski revealed on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” that he and Seyfried had eloped. A week later, Karamanos confirmed to USA TODAY that the couple had welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Nina.
Speaking about fatherhood, Sadoski told Corden, “I’m more excited about this than I’ve ever been about anything in my life and I’m also more terrified about it than anything I’ve ever been in my entire life.”
